Functional Training

Your training does not need to take place in a group. Come take advantage of our fully equipped Functional Fitness section of the Studio anytime the studio is open. Strength training with weights, sling trainers, resistance bands or body weight exercises. Cardio on the Concept 2 Rower or Assault Airbike. Mobility and flexibility.........book an appointment with one of our personal trainers to set up a program, or visit one of our Functional Fitness Workshops to inspire your workout and learn proper technique for safe training.

Motivate

Kickbox Aerobics

 

Kickbox Aerobics is a cardio, strength/endurance work-out combining Kickboxing, Thai-Boxing, Classic Boxing and Aerobic techniques to the beat of music. Kickbox Aerobics is an uncomplicated, however strenuous training which improves your cardio vascular fitness, burns calories and strengthens your muscles. Suitable for all fitness levels.

TRX

 

With the versatile TRX® sling training the whole body can be trained efficiently. An almost unlimited number of different exercises can be performed using only your own body weight on the TRX® Suspension Trainer. A high body tension is maintained during all exercises therefore strengthening the entire core. Suitable for all fitness levels.

Body Toning

 

Body Toning is a total body workout. Training with light to moderate weights or sometimes even only the weight of your own body. Exercises are performed to strengthen and tone the various muscles without bulking up.

Circuit Training

 

Circuit training is a form of body conditioning using interval training comprised of cardio and 

resistance exercises. The class is structured in short high intensity sequences which are repeated following short sequences of rest for the maximum strength and endurance building effect as well as burning the maximum amount of calories in a short time.

Killer Core & Booty

 

Killer Core & Booty is a 45 minute class devoted entirely to your core muscles, and bum.

Strengthen and tone your abdominal and lower back muscles to help alleviate back pain, bad posture and "muffin top". Tighten and lift your bum for a super figure. Enjoy the benefits of stability, mobility and toning without sacrificing too much time.

Stroops

The ultimate resistance band workout. Stroops bands can be used for everything from toning, and muscle buidling to agility and speed training. This 60 minute class is set up as a circuit; changing bands and exercises for a complete body workout. The high intense intervals, complimented with stretching and agility exercises for an efficient calorie burning effect. There is no prior experience needed and the exercise intensity can be easily adapted therefore suitable

for all fitness levels.

Badass Yoga


Badass is a dynamic and athletic class, focusing as much on strength and agility as on flexibility. You will be challenged to control your movements and engage your body & mind in the practice. The class emphasizes the transitions from posture to posture, rather than the holding of postures, resulting in fluid and circular movement patterns ("Flows") that bring a graceful yet powerful quality to this practice and demands complete concentration and awareness.

Suitable for all fitness levels.

Boxing HIIT

A 60 minute Boxing class mixed with a HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) style workout. During this class you will learn and train classic boxing techniques, mixed with strength training and cardio exercises. No boxing experience needed and suitable for all fitness levels, as you can adapt the training intensity to fit your ability.

Hatha

In this 45 minute class you will move your body slowly and deliberately into different poses that challenge your strength and flexibility, while at the same time focusing on relaxation and mindfulness. Hatha yoga places special emphasis on controlled breathing and posture resulting in increased flexibility, strength, balance and focus. The perfect close to your busy day.

MetCon

Metabolic Conditioning is a 45 minute full body workout using high intensity and low intensity, resistance and strength interval training. A series of exercises in sequence with little rest in between in an effort to maximize calorie burn & increase metabolic rate during and after the workout!

Think big muscle groups, explosive movements, compound movements and strength.

Although metabolic conditioning and high-intensity interval training (HIIT) are often used interchangeably, they aren’t exactly the same. HIIT exercises are a form of metabolic conditioning — but not all metabolic conditioning is HIIT.

Get ready to sweat!

Thai Boxing Training is a cardio, strength and endurance workout using Thai Boxing techniques on a boxing sack as well as one on one pad training with the instructor. Our classes teach true Muay Thai technique.

strength and endurance workout using classic Boxing techniques on a boxing sack as well as one on one training with the instructor. Kickboxing techniques such as kicks and knees can be added for a full body workout. Boxing/ Kickboxing Training improves your cardio vascular fitness, burns calories and strengthens your muscles.

Kids (7-12 years)

Kickboxing

Kids Kickboxing is a fun training  combining kickboxing techniques and strength training exercises suitable for children. Taught and practiced together on the boxing sacks as well as on the practice pads, both individually and in partner work. Kickboxing 

improves cardiovascular condition, coordination an increase of strength and flexibility, as well as self discipline and respect.

The Kids courses are fixed 6-month courses (October - April / May - September).  It is possible to start in the middle of the course, provided there is space and the fees would be adapted.

Teens  (13-17 years) 

Thai Boxing 

Teens Thai Boxing is a cardio, strength and endurance training with Thai Boxing techniques on a boxing sack and training pads, as well as individual training with the instructor. This is a training / fitness course, which as well teaches self discipline and respect. Sparring technique is learned and practiced in the advanced course. Thai Boxing improves cardiovascular fitness, strengthens muscles, improves motor skills and coordination. 

The Teens courses are fixed 6-month courses (October - April / May - September).  It is possible to start in the middle of the course, provided there is space and the fees would be adapted.

Day Camp

Kids Vacation Fitness

Day Camp (6-12 years)

During selected school holidays we offer an action-packed fitness and fun programme to keep the children moving and entertained. The day camp is for kids aged     6 -12 years and takes place from Monday to Friday from 10:30 - 15:00.

 

Every day there are two fitness trainings, a selection of Boxing, Kick Box Aerobics, Krav Maga Self Defense, Circuit Training, Thai Boxing & Yoga - one in the morning and another in the afternoon. A warm lunch to recharge the batteries for the afternoon training is included in the price. And to rest the muscles a little, a cinema afternoon including popcorn is planned! Weather permitting, we will make our way to the nearby forest for a nature scavenger hunt or maybe make our own slingshots out of fallen branches. In any case, at the end of each day, there will surely be tired and fun filled children.
