Fitness should be for everyone and so our classes are suitable for all fitness levels. Your instructor will give you options so that you can go at a pace and level that is suitable to your body.

 

FAQ

  • Please wear comfortable sports clothing.

  • Some classes will be performed without shoes.

  • Drinks and refreshments are able to be purchased from the kitchen.

  • Please bring a towel and arrive 10 minutes prior to your class to sign in and get comfortable.

  • There are shower and toilet facilities available.

  • Quality equipment is provided for each class such as yoga mats, boxing gear, weights etc. but you are welcome to bring your own.

  • On Sunday's the schedule rotates so that you can try different classes, or come participate in events and workshops.

Kickbox Aerobics

 

Kickbox Aerobics is a cardio, strength/endurance work-out combining Taekwondo, Thai-boxing, Karate and Aerobic techniques to the beat of music. Kickbox Aerobics is an uncomplicated, however strenuous training which improves your cardio vascular fitness, burns calories and strengthens your muscles. Suitable for all fitness levels.

TRX

 

With the versatile TRX® sling training the whole body can be trained efficiently. An almost unlimited number of different exercises can be performed using only your own body weight on the TRX® Suspension Trainer. A high body tension is maintained during all exercises therefore strengthening the entire core. Suitable for all fitness levels.

Body Toning

 

Body Toning is a total body workout. Training with light to moderate weights or sometimes even only the weight of your own body. Exercises are performed to strengthen and tone the various muscles without bulking up.

Circuit Training

 

Circuit training is a form of body conditioning using interval training comprised of cardio and 

resistance exercises. The class is structured in short high intensity sequences which are repeated following short sequences of rest for the maximum strength and endurance building effect as well as burning the maximum amount of calories in a short time.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga

 

Vinyasa means to 'place in a special way.' Drawing from the poses in the ashtanga primary series, vinyasa flow is a fluid movement class to energise the body increasing fitness, strength, mobility and flexibility. Through creative sequences, learn to move organically through each pose with the breath, gaze and focus in balance. Nourish body and mind.

Boxing / Kickboxing

Boxing Training is a cardio, 

strength and endurance workout using classic Boxing techniques on a boxing sack as well as one on one training with the instructor. Kickboxing techniques such as kicks and knees can be added for a full body workout. Boxing/ Kickboxing Training improves your cardio vascular fitness, burns calories and strengthens your muscles.

Thai Boxing

 

Thai Boxing Training is a cardio, strength and endurance workout using Thai Boxing techniques on a boxing sack as well as one on one training with the instructor. Thai Boxing Training improves your cardio vascular fitness, burns calories and strengthens your muscles.

Slow Yoga

Join us for an evening practice which focuses on yoga for sleep, stress and anxiety relief. Restore your body and mind, release and experience a feeling of peace.This class is suitable for those wanting to feel a sense of calm before bed, wind down and release tensions held in the body. The class includes essential oils, massage and restorative poses.

Suitable also for people over 55 and pregnant women.

Barre

 

Barre classes mix the precision of Pilates, grace of ballet, alignment and stretching of yoga and elements of functional training for strength and mobility. The class includes sequences of upper body exercises to target the biceps, triceps, chest, and back muscles; followed by a sequence of repetitive low-impact movements at the Barre at varying intensities. Barre classes are the perfect harmony of fat burning and body sculpting. Suitable for all fitness levels.

Pilates

Our Pilates classes are ideal for beginners to advanced students. The classes incorporate all the key principles of Pilates such as postural alignment, breathing, core stability, controlled movement and flexibility. They are low-impact and performed on the floor, mat Pilates exercises are aimed at improving flexibility and muscle tone, along with the spine and lower back. They also focus on body balance, as well as promoting mind-body awareness.

Badass Yoga

When you think of workouts that make you feel badass, boxing or weight lifting might come to mind, right? But there's more to yoga than Savasana and finding your zen... In this class you will move intensely in a constant flow from one pose to the next with components borrowed from martial arts, the strength of calisthenics, the playfulness of animal movement, and the fluidity of yoga.
It's a dynamic and athletic class, focusing as much on strength and agility as on flexibility. You will be challenged to control your movements and engage your body & mind in the practice. The class emphasizes the transitions from posture to posture, rather than the holding of postures, resulting in fluid and circular movement patterns that bring a graceful yet powerful quality to this practice and demands complete concentration and awareness.

TRX Pilates

TRX Pilates is an integration of classic Pilates exercises with
the versatile TRX suspension Sling Trainers. This fusion of two very efficient functional training methods is a secret weapon to increase core strength, balance, and flexibility.

As with the classic TRX classes, a high body tension is maintained during all exercises in the TRX Pilates class, therefore strengthening the entire core musculature. The intensity can be very easily adapted to different fitness levels. With TRX® Suspension Training you improve your fitness level quickly and safely, form your figure and optimize your posture.

 

Outdoor Functional Endurance Training (OFET)

OFET is an outdoor class made up of a variation of endurance and strength training exercises, focusing on cardiovascular improvement, flexibility, coordination, mobility and strength. The natural environment supplies a vast number of tools for this type of training, in addition there will be a mixture of various functional training equipment to ensure a safe and efficient workout. Suitable for all Fitness Levels.

Boxing / Kickboxing Training
 

Kids Boxing is a fun training for children between the ages of 7-12 that combines boxing techniques and strength training exercises suitable for children. Taught and practiced together on the punchbags as well as on the pads, both individually and in partner work, the results of this training are an improvement of the cardiovascular condition, an improvement in coordination as well as an increase of strength and flexibility.

 

Teenagers (13-17 years) 

Thai Boxing

Thai Boxing is a cardio, strength and endurance training with Thai Boxing techniques on a punching bag as well as an individual training with the instructor. This is a training / fitness course and not sparring or fight preparation  Thai Boxing improves cardiovascular fitness, strengthens muscles, improves motor skills and coordination. For the kids under 13 we train Kickboxing instead of Thai Boxing techniques, being that the children under 13 are still growing and developing and we want the training to be as safe as possible.

 

 

The Kids and Teens courses are fixed 6-month courses (March - August / September - February).   It is possible to start in the middle of the course, provided there is space and the fees would be adapted.

Kids Spring Vacation Fitness

Day Camp

During the spring school holidays we offer an action-packed fitness and fun programme to keep the children active and entertained. The day camp is for kids aged     6 -12 years and takes place from Monday to Friday from 9:00 - 16:00 hours.

 

Every day there are two fitness trainings, a selection of Boxing, Kick Box Aerobics, Boot Camp, Circuit Training and Thai Boxing - one in the morning and another in the afternoon. A warm lunch to recharge the batteries for the afternoon training is included in the price. And to rest the muscles a little, a cinema afternoon including popcorn is planned! Weather permitting, we will make our way to the nearby forest for a nature scavenger hunt or maybe make our own slingshots out of fallen branches. In any case, at the end of each day, there will surely be tired and fun filled children. 

 

Additional childcare from 8:00 - 9:00 and 16:00 - 17:00 can be arranged for all working mothers and fathers for a small extra charge.
